Nashoba Ski Valley Resort in Westford, Massachusetts

While no one likes seeing warmer days come to an end, there is a huge excitement for many people, especially in New England, about ski and snowboarding season being just around the corner. Regardless of how experienced you are in skiing or snowboarding, visiting and lodging at a resort is a great time for everyone, and a great way to spend time with family and friends throughout the winter months. This week, we are featuring another one of our favorite resorts – Nashoba Ski Valley Resort! 

Located in Westford, Massachusetts, Nashoba Ski Valley Resort has been around since 1964 and is known as one of the first areas in the entire country to allow snowboarding! This resort is full-service, which means that here you can take lessons, use rental equipment, ski, snowboard and participate in a lot of other activities that vary based on the season. Nashoba Valley also holds New England’s largest snowtubing park ever since 2001, which has 600 snow tubes with 16 lanes – perfect for anyone at any age! 

Right now, during the Halloween season, Nashoba Valley Ski Area has officially opened Witches Woods which is open from Thursday to Sunday nights throughout the month of October, as well as on November 1st and November 2nd. Another great event the resort has coming up is the Boston Ski and Snowboard Show which is being held from November 14th – November 17th. At this event, you can learn more about skiing and snowboarding, purchase special, exclusive lesson and pass deals, grab yourself some free tickets and more! 

Whether you are an avid skier or snowboarder, or you are just starting out, Nashoba is a great place for anyone at any level. With a total of 17 trails, Nashoba has 20% beginner trails, 50% intermediate trails and 30% advanced trails – with the longest run being around 1400 ft. This is a great resort to take it easy if you would prefer to or challenge yourself if you want to get to the next level!
